NEW Vintage Inspired Mug Range

If you follow me on Instagram and Facebook you may have seen my new Clumsy print mugs. I am really pleased with the excellent quality and the fact that they are manufactured in the UK. I have released 4 designs all inspired by Mid Century and Vintage prints, with my own Clumsy twist.

The first design is probably my favorite. Based on one of my best selling cushion prints, the Tiki Island mug has all the hallmark Clumsy things; Pineapples, Tikis, Palm trees and Sock Monkeys! Whether you use it to drink your morning coffee or down some rum on a Friday night, it's up to you! As you can see, this little fella can hold his own with some of the big boys of the Tiki Mug world...

The second design I released features one of my favorite characters, my little cactus riding a pinata! I collect vintage Mexicana, so i've presented it here with one of my little vintage Mexican men! His sombrero matches the Mexican Print mug perfectly!

Third to be released is a new print featuring adorable 1950s style poodles. This print will be featuring on many new accessories including hair ties, bags and a skirt, as part of my new Spring range. Here I present the Poodle Print Mug!

Last but not least, and also featuring a new print, is the Under The Sea Mug! I love this print and I can't wait to release all of the other items in this design. The octopus featured in the print is something I have been drawing for a few years now. His name is Bert, and I will be writing a blog post all about him very soon. But for now... here's the mug...

These mugs are dishwasher safe, and come securely wrapped in bubble wrap and inside a special box. At the moment I am offering them at an introductory price of £8 which will o up to £10 in May. Find them all on my Clumsy Kate website before stocks run out!

Top 5 Repro Vintage Necklaces Made in the UK - By Clumsy Kate

If you follow my Instagram you will know how much I love statement jewellery and novelty prints. I also love to wear Rockabilly and Vintage Reproduction jewellery, made in the UK by small independent businesses.

I've put together my Top 5 Repro Vintage Necklaces and what I would wear with them. I am always on a tight budget when it comes to buying new clothes each season. So I try to concentrate on a couple of key pieces of jewellery to refresh my outfits. Its a cheap and easy way to update a tired old wardrobe.

Rock Lobster Necklace

As soon as I saw this Luxulite lobster necklace I knew I had to have it. Katy is one of my favorite jewellery designers, and I am constantly adding her items to my Etsy wishlist.

This is a really bold piece and so far I have worn it with plain tops only, so the necklace really speaks for itself. Obviously it's still winter here but when the sun comes out I would love to pair it with these Miss L Fire sandals...

Tiki Bamboo Necklace

Another one of my favorite Repro jewellery brands is Bow and Crossbones. I have a couple of her necklaces but my current favorite is definatly this 1950S fruit and bamboo necklace set...

It has a really authentic vintage look without the price tag associated with a genuine 1950s piece. I've been accessorizing this necklace with a peach pineapple print hair tie from my own collection.

This necklace also comes with adorable bamboo earrings to match. Perfect for the pool party at Viva Las Vegas.

Dancing Skeletons Necklace

This skeleton necklace is a bit different, and I love to wear it when i'm feeling in touch with my inner goth.

It's dark and moody but also with a sense of humor. I bought this from the fabulous Razorblade Mermaid and it is made from vintage skeleton charms. You can also purchase earrings to match. Once again because of the size of this piece I only wear it with plain tops, and it looks great with this Topshop beaded spiderweb jumper I purchased on Ebay, and a Clumsy Kate cat brooch.

Playful Pooches Necklace

This is fast becoming one of my favorite necklaces for day to day wear. From my own collection, this is a smaller scale necklace, but still an eye catching conversation piece.

This cute sausage dog necklace looks great with a fluffy pastel jumper for that 1960s sweater girl look. There are lots of jumpers like this available on the high street at the moment. Top of my want list is this mint fluffy jumper from Select, which was bought to my attention by the lovely Atomic Amber.

Jumbo Pineapple Necklace

If, like me you love pineapples, you will adore this jumbo pineapple necklace by Dolly Cool.

She has lots of statement necklaces in her collection, all at very affordable prices, and once again hand made by a small independent business. I love to pair this necklace with my Tropicana Pineapple print skirt from my own collection.

It's as if they were made to be worn together!

Clumsy Kate is looking for people to model our new Spring line!

Are you a fan of Clumsy Kate prints and products? Would you like to get your hands on our new Spring line before it is available to anybody else? If yes, read on...

We are looking for models with a fun personality, you don't have to be conventional looking, and we definatly don't want anyone serious and pouty :) You don't have to be a professional or with loads of experience, but you do need to be confident in front of the camera, and able to do your own hair and make up. It would also help if you have your own camera, and a friend who knows how to use it properly. :)

How we work with our models...
Clumsy Kate is a one woman operation with no background funding, and so at present we can't afford to employ and pay for professional models. So, we pay in the one thing we do have, which is great new Clumsy Kate products. :) We'll send you a whole load of goodies, in exchange for high resolution, clear and in focus shots in front of a plain background. We'll always credit you wherever possible and tag you in the photos on social media. And you get to keep all the goodies!
